How do I benefit from BPS?
With the certification of your laboratory, you will gain access to the exclusive BPS Brand Prosthetics Team. Your high-quality work and the competent support of our professional team of technical consultants will enable you to offer individual high-quality dentures to your demanding customers.
Moreover, you will receive a Newsletter, which will inform you about the latest further education possibilities, trade shows, products, as well as details about the BPS activities of Ivoclar Vivadent. You will receive this information exclusively and usually ahead of other, non-certified dental laboratories.
What do I have to do to become a member of the BPS Brand Prosthetics Team?
By attending a BPS certification seminar, signing the BPS declaration of consent, attending the BPS basic course*, and paying the nominal BPS certification fee, you have fulfilled the requirements for the certification. You will be able to benefit from the BPS starter package and obtain your BPS Certificate.
*The previous attendance of any Ivoclar Vivadent set-up courses counts towards the certification.
What if I already attended an Ivoclar Vivadent set-up course?
Since you have already fulfilled one of the BPS certification requirements, the way to your BPS certification is shorter. You will receive a course voucher, which you may either pass on to an employee/trainee or use towards your BPS Master training.
For whom is BPS interesting?
BPS is an opportunity for all dental technicians who value high-quality brand prosthetics. BPS is a successful system, which provides dedicated dental technicians with a comprehensive concept ranging from the fabrication to the marketing of dental restorations.
What are the objectives of BPS?
BPS Brand Prosthetics should support your efforts to satisfy the quality requirements of your dentist customers. This will boost the reputation of removable denture prosthetics and promote the communication between dentists and dental technicians. Under the umbrella of the strong BPS Team, a cooperation will develop, which opens up new perspectives and ways of thinking for all members.
What are BPS brand dentures?
Only certified BPS Laboratories may fabricate BPS brand dentures of the core products defined in the agreement.
These BPS core products are:
- Stratos articulators
- Ivoclar Vivadent teeth
- Ivoclar Vivadent denture base materials
Furthermore, the teeth must be set-up and the dentures completed according to the Ivoclar Vivadent method. The set-up course during the certification process is the prerequisite.
If all these requirements have been met, we can speak of BPS brand dentures, due to their consistently high quality standard.
How do I address my customers/dentists?
The BPS Marketing Strategy provides you with comprehensive support for the communication with your customers. You will receive the BPS Guide upon certification. It outlines different strategic approaches and contains sample mailings, letters, and invitations to dentists.
What additional possibilities can I offer patients / dentists?
With the help of a patient card (like a service booklet), patients are reminded to come in for recalls. Furthermore, the BPS denture care tips support the patients, who should actively participate with oral hygiene measures.
What support can I expect from my BPS Technical Consultant?
The BPS Technical Consultant is the personal contact for certified BPS Laboratories for all technical questions.
Dedicated laboratories organize practical and theoretical courses and your BPS Technical Consultant will be happy to assist you.
How does the cooperation between the laboratory and Ivoclar Vivadent work?
In the first phase, Ivoclar Vivadent introduces the BPS concept to the dental laboratories. With the help of the different means of communication, the laboratories may then introduce the BPS philosophy to their customers. At the same time, the laboratories are assigned a highly qualified BPS Technical Consultant, who will assist in the implementation of the BPS philosophy.
In the second phase, your personal BPS Technical Consultant can, upon prior arrangement, support you in the management of your dentist customers. There are also supporting tools, such as the BPS CD-ROM as image pool, which are offered by Ivoclar Vivadent.
How can I order BPS give-aways?
The BPS give-aways are available under the respective article number from your Ivoclar Vivadent contact.
Where is the Ivoclar set-up technique described?
Basically, the method described in the "Handbook of Complete Denture Prosthetics" (Art. No. 539006/D) applies. For specific supplements to the SR Postaris tooth line please refer to the "Technical Documentation SR Postaris" (Art. No. 543976/D).
