The IPS Empress glass-ceramic is an extremely homogeneous, leucite-based material that scatters light naturally and provides a balanced chameleon effect. It pleases users with its translucency and lifelike appearance. Since the IPS Empress Esthetic press-ceramic and the IPS Empress CAD machinable ceramic blocks are the same from a materials science point of view, both materials demonstrate excellent strength values of 185 MPa* in addition to the exceptional light optical properties.
